Welcome to Mixing Babies And Business! I am thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for talented students to contribute to our innovative project, through Mixing Babies And Business Podcast Channel Marketing, of existing Seasons 1–6, as well as preparations for Season 7.
Main Goal:
The primary objective of this project is to increase audience growth and retention, focusing on parents and primary caregivers of young children (ages 0 to 12), who are interested in entrepreneurship, flexible and remote work with kids.
I want students to not only understand the significance of their contributions to connecting parents and primary caregivers with accessible professional development and micro learning opportunities, but to also feel confident that the project is manageable within a realistic timeframe of 60 hours, spread over 6-8 weeks.
Project Scope and Expectations:
Company Overview:
I believe everyone deserves to design a life that works for them and their family.
Mixing Babies And Business is a social impact movement and business aligned with the United Nations' SDGs 5 Gender Equality and 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth and includes:
• a podcast featuring parents who are also business and community leaders;
• public speaking engagements highlighting parent-friendly business practices and corporate culture initiatives;
• community meetups and parent-friendly professional development events in entrepreneurship incubators and business spaces; and
• advocating for accessible childcare, flexible and remote work opportunities and safe spaces for primary caregivers.

Students will gain exposure to timely and relevant future of work and workforce participation trends, challenges and opportunities, while helping to create a social impact.
• I am connected with each podcast guest and am happy to make introductions, I am also a Startup Canada Ecosystem Support Partner, attend their StartupGov and StartupWomen events, I have hosted my events at Bayview Yards Invest Ottawa.
I am running a beta group for my Changemaker Program (launched in October 2024) and the Minister for Small Business Rechie Valdez has shouted out my work for parents in Canada. I'm also connected with leaders at Futurpreneur, PARO Centre For Women's Enterprise, Queen's University WE-CAN Project, ONE Hub, Global Invest Her, Coralus and women's business groups and entrepreneurs in Australia, New Zealand, the US, UK and Ireland.
